The months pass normally.

Jack posts vids, screams at the camera, FINALLY posts something epic for Happy Wheels #100, and his part in Scare Pewdiepie 2 was pretty entertaining. The fandom is content, and everything is just hunky dory.

No one notices that his wardrobe choices tend to stay dark. If not in darker shades, he always has that black hoodie. And in some vids, the gages stay. People here and there are whispering ‘is it a small reference to Anti?’ or some variant of that (if, you know, they aren’t busy fangirling about how hot Jack is with the gages of which I have to agree), but for the most part, the Anti-hype dies down, aside from the occasional request for Anti-bloopers/outtakes.

Time passes. It’s nearly Halloween again, and people are buzzing with ideas about what Jack will do. To be honest, people aren’t really expecting something as big as Anti, as that’s kinda hard to top. Fair enough.

And then, the glitches start up again. People grow excited. Just glitches, but no clear images yet. And for the vids for the early part of October, Jack seems more stiff, more uncomfortable. Easily angry. Sometimes he fights himself. Another Anti takeover?

And then the first glitch with a face comes out, and it’s just Jack…crying.

The people go wild when they realize that it’s not an Anti takeover that’s happening; that it was Anti the whole year, and we’ve all failed Jack.

Bonus headcanon: Jack’s media glitches up too starting October next year, but all the messages seem targeted into coaxing someone else out. Someone just as…dark as he is. And before we know it…Mark’s vids start glitching out too, in a distinct septic-green hue,
